Brianna Kay, DMSc, MPAS, PA-C, is a board-certified physician assistant with more than a decade of experience in medical and surgical dermatology. She is proud to serve patients throughout the Texas Hill Country, providing thoughtful, evidence-based care with a focus on skin health, prevention, and patient education.

Brianna earned her Master of Physician Assistant Studies from the University of Texas Health Science Center at San Antonio in 2012. As a Diplomate Fellow of the Society of Dermatology Physician Associates (SDPA), Brianna completed an advanced, comprehensive educational curriculum emphasizing specialized dermatologic knowledge and clinical practice. In 2026, she further advanced her education by earning her Doctor of Medical Science (DMSc) degree from the University of Lynchburg. Her doctoral studies emphasized healthcare leadership, evidence-based medicine, and healthcare law, further strengthening her commitment to informed, responsible patient care.

At the heart of Brianna’s practice is a belief that exceptional care begins with collaboration. She values shared decision-making and empowers patients to take an active role in their skin health. By taking the time to explain diagnoses, discuss treatment options, and answer questions, she helps patients feel informed, confident, and comfortable with their care. Her goal is not only to treat skin conditions but also to build lasting relationships grounded in trust, education, and mutual respect.

Brianna is committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-based dermatologic care. She applies the critical appraisal skills strengthened through her doctoral training, alongside ongoing continuing medical education, to stay informed of evolving treatment approaches. She also incorporates dermoscopy into comprehensive skin cancer screenings to support the careful evaluation of skin lesions and the early identification of potentially concerning changes.

Outside the clinic, Brianna enjoys life in the Texas Hill Country with her husband. Having grown up in a military family, she developed a lifelong love of travel and adventure. Today, she and her husband enjoy exploring state parks in their camper and hiking with their two dogs. She is also a proud mother to her daughter, who is pursuing a degree in genetics at Texas A&M University. In her free time, Brianna enjoys swimming, baking, and crafting.
